The following essay aims to understand the importance and meaning of Mexican ethnic food in terms of its tradition and cultural identity, which over time has been known as a distinctive feature of identity and denomination of Mexican culture in the world. In that sense, talking about Mexican food is to take a trip back in time, to know the history that makes each dish unique and spectacular, not only in terms of flavors and aromas, but in spirit and identity.
