Abstract

The upper part of the Municipality of Ginebra Valle is located within the perimeter of the Sonso-Guabas National Protective Forest Reserve zone; For this reason, the traditional management of bovine livestock that takes place on the sidewalks of Las Hermosas and Flautas, is currently forced to appropriate sustainable development alternatives and thus potentiate agricultural roots in a balanced way with the conservation and protection of natural resources. That is why the introduction of silvopastoralism for bovine tradition producers in the municipality has been determined as a strategy for the harmonic function of progress in reserve space.
