The urbanization Ciudad Hayuelos Santiago of Tunja is a financially supported project through a credit builder, it is located north of the city of Tunja. It is a residential project stratum 5 of three blocks, 2 of 15400 m2 and 1 of 13400 m2, currently being developed block 1 of the project, this is divided into two stages, Stage 1 comprising the construction of towers 1 to 5 and Stage 2 dealing with the construction of towers 6 to 12, with a total of block 1 comprising 240 apartments distributed over 12 towers with common areas, parking, lifts and warehouses, as well as areas equipped for the recreation and recreation of its inhabitants; the whole of apple 1 will be delivered in approximately 5 years.
Today, towers 1, 2, 3, 4 have been delivered and the construction of Tower 5, last stage 1, is executed, this consists of 12 floors with 4 apartments per floor, each with different areas, ranging from 50 m2 to 99 m2, leaving a total of 48 apartments in the Tower. The tower is constructed using an industrialised FORSA-type system, with premixed concrete of 211.3 Kg/Cm2 in plates and from 211.3 Kg/Cm2 to 422.5 Kg/Cm2 in walls, an electrowelded mesh of 5 was used, 5.5 and 6 mm, steel rods from 1/4 inch to 1 inch and gravel from 1/2 inch and 1 inch. It is expected to start with the delivery of Tower 5 in March 2020.
The main objective of this degree work is to present the different activities that were developed carrying out follow-up review, monitoring and control in each of the construction processes of Tower 5, This required the implementation of the basic skills of a civil engineer, such as reading and interpreting plans, current regulations governing construction in Colombia, team work and problem solving.
