Propuesta de reutilización arquitectónica del Molino Sugamuxi como hostal en Sogamoso, Boyacá

Abstract

The project aims to develop a hostel in the Sugamuxi Mill, located in Sogamoso, Boyacá. The objective is to preserve it through reuse because it is in abandonment and this has caused its deterioration, a regrettable fact since this building has an architectural value, symbolic and historical that was reaffirmed by the survey conducted to the community where its importance was evidenced. During the design process it became evident the need to add a volume to meet the required area, This was done in a respectful way with the original volume and making noticeable the harmonious union between past and present through two styles of architectural design that are industrial and contemporary architecture.
