Estudio de las propiedades mecánicas de los ladrillos de adobe para su uso en mampostería mediante un análisis estadístico multivariado

Abstract

Due to the high growth that the construction industry has had and its harmful impact on the environment, it became necessary to investigate new traditional construction techniques that would mitigate its negative impact through alternatives such as masonry with organic aggregates given its easy to obtain and effective in relation to durability and compressive strength. Therefore, in the present research work it was possible to understand the behavior of the physical-mechanical properties of the adobe brick with organic additions of rice chaff and sand adhesions in its manufacture. Therefore, the relationships between the aforementioned variables that affect adobe brick and its resistance to compression were made. The results obtained contribute to the study of the behavior and quality of the brick, which are directly related to its resistance, allowing its functions to be recommended or not to the construction industry.
