Prospectiva de inversión extranjera directa de india en Colombia en base a las relaciones comerciales

Abstract

The study “prospective of foreign direct investment of India in Colombia based on commercial relations”, analyzes two economies: the first one is India that is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, which has a large population, which generates a greater number of business. On the other hand, Colombia’s economy is growing slightly and has a great potential for foreign direct investment. The research uses a descriptive methodology with a qualitative approach as it seeks to establish a potential relationship between these two markets. In this way the different prospects are projected between these two subjects based on historical facts that have occurred since the year 2000. For this, it takes into account the opinion of advisers of the embassy of India in Colombia and the opinion of academic representatives. Finally, the result is that, the prospective between Colombia and India is positive, since commercial ties have now been strengthened, bearing in mind that sectoral relations are stronger and more common, as a reason for growing foreign direct investment from India to Colombia
