trabajos futuros In this research work developed at Institución Educativa la Laguna in the municipality of Los Santos, an analysis of the learning process of senior High School students was carried out in the area of chemistry on the subject of chemical reactions. To achieve the above, three learning aspects were defined: quantitative skills in
chemical reactions, qualitative skills in chemical reactions, and safe work skills in the laboratory (handling of hazardous substances, safety procedures, cleaning in the laboratory, identification of hazardous reactions, chemical reactivity etc.). Subsequently, by means of surveys and written academic evaluations, the learning
of the students in the various components was compared through the virtual laboratory and study guides with respect to learning only through study guides. Statistical techniques were used for data analysis that allowed identifying better academic performance in students exposed to learning using virtual laboratories compared to learning only through study guides. This thesis is divided into chapters, in the first, the problem situation is described
and formulated, which focused on the lack of skills on the subject of chemical reactions and learning difficulties in theoretical chemistry without the use of the laboratory, the objectives of the research, the justification. In the second chapter, the theoretical bases, the state of the art, are exposed. In the third chapter, the methodological design, the variables, the formulation of the hypothesis were
developed. In the sixth chapter, the intervention proposals and the technological component of the research were addressed. In the seventh chapter, the analysis and interpretation of the data was developed. Finally, the conclusions related to the analysis of results, limitations, presenting the impact and recommendations for future
work were presented
