Sports sciences under the concept of interdisciplinarity are understood as those sciences that have sport as an object of study, which is not seen only by one discipline, but by a series of disciplines that comprehensively examine it from their theoretical and methodological approaches . It is not an additive examination or the meeting of research results, it refers to the ability and ability to jointly consider the theoretical and methodological before the object of study
In 2020, the twenty-fifth ECCS congress (European College Of Sport Science 2020 International Congress) was held, once again fulfilling its objective of research and promotion of sports sciences.
This work is the result of arduous investigations carried out in said congress with the purpose of giving the importance of the knowledge of evolutionary processes from biological, historical, ideological, psychological contexts, among others, as well as of the philosophical and scientific theoretical consideration to establish possibilities of differentiation from the nature, essence and characterization of the sporting event, be it called physical culture, physical activity and / or that its study is approached from physical education, applied sciences or sports sciences; involving different countries, authors, universities, organizations and research topics.
The objective was to create a new collaborative network between sports scientists and sports practitioners found throughout the world. The essence, art, and culture were shown at the congress from different perspectives; In order to show the present and the future of the highest multidisciplinary knowledge in sports sciences, it was thus an excellent strategy to learn and study the different disciplines of this science
