"Although Kant's philosophy is strongly subjectivistic, trait that he shares with most modern thinkers, his philosophy introduces an inflection point in modern philosophy: Kant does not consider the human as being a mere individual but goes on to think of it as an agent in constant relation with its equal beings (rational agents). In this context, Kant presents an update of the Stoic idea of humankind, taking into account the historic framework of western thought. However, such a notion must be understood as an interwoven fabric of subjective agents who live and share experiences [Erlebnis] in a common intelligible world. This intersubjective idea of humankind provides us with a framework to interpret one of the most complex and obscure notions in Kant's thought: that of Faktum of reason. In this point, Kant is critically thinking about the conditions of possibility of morality, as he cannot simply accept morality as an inherent quality of the human being, and the keystone of those conditions is precisely the Faktum. The present research suggests that this idea should be considered in terms of "Us", i.e: the Faktum of reason is the expression of the notion of intersubjectivity understood as the necessary and sufficient condition for our moral agency."--Tomado del Formato de Documento de Grado.
