Determination of the Hubble constant by the usage of recession velocities of galaxies

El objetivo del trabajo presentado es la determinación de la constante de Hubble, una de las constantes físicas más importantes en las teorías cosmológicas y astrofísicas. Considerando un enfoque estadístico, se analizaron, seleccionaron y utilizaron los datos de distancia y velocidad de recesión de más de 11,000 galaxias, obtenidas a partir de diferentes métodos de indicadores de distancia, tales como Tully-Fisher, Dn-Sigma e IRAS, para ajustar regresiones robustas, y modelar la ley de Hubble. El valor estimado de la constante de Hubble fue Ho = (72.99 +/- 0.33) km / (sM pc), un valor que tiene una diferencia de 0.73% en relación con el valor publicado más reciente de la constante, (73.52 +/- 1.62) km / ( s M pc), que se encuentra en un valor significativo que está altamente relacionado con el intervalo actual de valores que se obtienen para la constante en los últimos años The aim of the work presented is the determination of the Hubble constant, one of the most important physical constants in the cosmological and astrophysical theories. Considering a statistical approach, data of distance and recession velocity of more than 11.000 galaxies, obtained from different distance indicator methods such as Tully-Fisher, Dn-Sigma and IRAS, was analyzed, selected and used to adjust robust regressions, in order to model the Hubble's law. The estimated value of the Hubble constant was Ho = (72.99 +/- 0.33) km/ (sM pc), a value that has a difference of 0.73% relative to the most recent published value of the constant, (73.52 +/- 1.62) km/ (s M pc), which lies in a significant value that is highly related to the current interval of values that are getting obtained for the constant in the recent years
