Today, hair care plays a very important role in people's physical appearance and in their personal perception. Therefore, a variety of products such as shampoo and conditioner have been created for cleaning and hydration. However, these products traditionally contain ingredients that are harmful to people and the environment. Therefore, at present an organic conditioner bar based on acai was designed, without the presence of sulfates, plastics, silicones or other additives that damage the scalp, which provides hydration to the hair. For this, different formulations were defined from natural ingredients and conditioner samples were made from each of these without varying the acai oil and alternating the proportion of different hardening agents. Properties such as pH and texture were measured with these samples, specifically hardness, adhesiveness and cohesiveness. Additionally, a sensory evaluation and an analysis of the visual characteristics was carried out due to the great importance of the texture and appearance of the products for consumers. From the results it was determined that the hardening agent that provides the greatest hardness is cetostearyl alcohol and that there is a significant relationship between the values obtained by the texture analysis and the sensory analysis.
