In the framework of RSC-Washing, which is the unethical use of sustainable marketing, it is necessary to know how much of what is exposed in social networks is real (Boiral et al., 2017). In this empirical research, we want to assess whether the commitment of sustainability of companies is a genuine contribution or, on the contrary, it is a facade. This, given the ease with social media news, can go viral, even if it is false. For this reason, the question arose whether there is any latent risk of a viral publication of a company that presents itself as a hero against Colombian society, thanks to the power of social networks, but in reality it is a fraud. Therefore, the curiosity arises to answer if you can find RSC-Washing in the manager of the business community. If RSC-Washing is found, does the market have enough incentives so that this practice is not carried out in corporate social networks? That is, do you see any difference between the response in social networks between the one that performs the RSC wash and the one that does not?
