El Inti Raymi como espacio-tiempo de construcción de alternativas al desarrollo

La presente investigación explora en qué medida la fiesta del Inti Raymi (Fiesta del Sol), del pueblo de los Pastos, en el municipio de Cumbal (Nariño), materializa características de las alternativas al desarrollo. Para esto, el artículo analiza cuatro elementos de la fiesta: tiempo, complementariedad, reciprocidad y soberanía alimentaria, los cuales contrastan con las bases conceptuales del modelo de desarrollo dominante. En términos metodológicos, esta investigación es cualitativa, emplea observación participante y entrevistas semiestructuradas. Las narrativas y prácticas de los participantes se analizaron a la luz de las propuestas teóricas del post desarrollo y el Buen Vivir. El artículo concluye que el Inti Raymi se configura como uno de los momentos espirituales de mayor relevancia social para los Pastos, de gran valor comunitario y cuyo significado trasciende de la fiesta a la cotidianidad. En igual sentido, la festividad expone formas alternativas de habitar el mundo contrarias al modelo hegemónico de desarrollo contemporáneo, que se despliegan en medio de tensiones, toda vez que los Pastos habitan en una sociedad mayoritariamente diferente. This study explores the extent to which the Inti Raymi (Festival of the Sun) festival of the Pastos, in the municipality of Cumbal (Nariño), materializes the Pastos Indigenous Community, in the municipality of Cumbal (Nariño), likewise, materializes characteristics of alternatives to development. For this purpose, the article analyzes four elements of the festival: time, complementarity, reciprocity and food sovereignty, which contrast with the conceptual bases of the dominant development model. In methodological terms, this research is qualitative, employing participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The narratives and practices of the participants were analyzed in light of the theoretical proposals of posdevelopment and ¿Buen Vivir¿. The research concludes that Inti Raymi is configured as one of the most socially relevant spiritual moments for the Pastos, of great communitarian value. the Pastos and whose meaning transcends from the festivity to the daily life. In the same sense, the festivity exposes alternative ways of inhabiting the world contrary to the hegemonic model of contemporary development, which unfold in the midst of tensions, since the Pastos live in a society that is mostly different from the hegemonic model of contemporary development.
