Propuesta de Lineamientos de ordenamiento ambiental para el Corredor Urbano de la Ecorregión Eje Cafetero.

Abstract

El Corredor urbano of the Ecorregion Eje Cafetero is the realization of the physical infrastructure of transportation systems, parks, forest cover, industry, commerce, cities, culture, topographical and foremost a social reality thatemerges and into the future. The corridor consists of 15 municipalities in the departments of Caldas, Quindio, Risaralda and Valle del Cauca, which plays a role of "connection" between different areas, ie the range of services structured to their social demands, facilitating location and mobility of people from one area to another. The situation that currently environmental issues identified in the urban corridor is associated with urbanization, and industrialization conurbation, it has conducted demographic and geographic expansion that has produced major environmental imbalance, so the environmental born as essential need for the integration of environmental dimension variables in the actions for development and achieving a balance between economic activities and natural resources. The presentation will explore the processes running and urban impact on it, part of the methodological design of a model based on strategic planning, which allows a state located in the current urban corridor and plan towards an ideal future, the model methodological answer questions such as what to do? And what is to be achieved?, this contributes to the determination of environmental management guidelines to guide environmental management in local authorities in the corredor urbano de la Ecorregion Eje Cafetero.
