Diagnóstico de la cadena de valor de la empresa ganadera Hacienda Valparaiso en el Valle del Cauca

Abstract

The livestock sector of Colombia faces multidimensional problems for the efficient and sustainable exercise of its productive activity; despite of having relevant comparative advantages for the development of it. The livestock company Hacienda Valparaiso lacks of the mechanisms of integral evaluation of its activities that allows it to adopt efficient competitive strategies; for this reason, the aim of this work is, through the construction of a methodology of analysis of the internal value chain, to develop an integral diagnosis of the current state of the productive activities of the farm and suggest a scheme of prioritization of improvement actions that allows to lay the foundations for the implementation of a productive improvement strategy
