Resumen
For this research the aim was to establish if there is a leadership style and soft skills self-perceived and perceived that are linked to the dream team managers of project teams of three companies in the construction sector of the Aburrá Valley. In order to achieve this purpose, a research with a qualitative descriptive dream team methodology through the multi-case study method was proposed. The tools used to obtain the information were the Blake and Mouton or Managerial Grid Leadership (1964) Styles Test, and the Managerial Skills Inventory (2013). The research question was: Is there a leadership style and self-perceived, and perceived soft skills linked to the dream team managers of three companies in the construction sector of the Aburrá Valley? Some of the results showed that the primary soft skills related to dream team leaders are communication, motivation, and staff development. The coherence between the leaders' self-perception and the collaborators' perception represents a link in itself. No differential factors were found based on the leadership styles used by the managers of both groups.
