Resumen
To synthesize the differences between the main human management processes of one service sector at the beginning of its operations, such as hiring, ending work contract and payroll, in five South American countries: Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador and Peru. Conceptual framework of references. It is approached from the perspective of exploration, by the legal framework (social security) of South American countries, with academic sources from public or private entities, in relation to the theoretical concepts of international human resources and intercultural management. Method: Qualitative Document Analysis is a descriptive, transactional and comparative study; the research subjects are the five South American countries with their respective laws and processes. Conclusions. The mentioned countries are in the same geographical region and share cultural characteristics. However, they tend to be different at the level of human management processes both in the number of processes and in the cost of an employee. Before making the decision to enter a market in any of these countries, the human management area plays a leading role.
