Modelos de gestión de riesgos en proyectos para la empresa MS Contrucciones.

Abstract

Given the vulnerability of the construction sector in relation to the risks in its operation, the opportunity and the need to implement methodologies for risk management in projects in companies of that sector that allow to improve the quality of the projects, the quality of life of the workers, the work environment, and generate significant savings in resources, time and money in organizations arise. This degree work, which deals with some of the international and national methodologies and standards for risk management, aims to provide the reader with the basic knowledge in risk management in projects so that he knows the process of implementing such a methodology in his company. In particular, it reviews the case of the company MS Construcciones, defining a methodology for its risk management that implements strategies and norms that allow it to carry out an effective task. As an example, a pilot test of the methodology proposed in an aqueduct and sewage project is executed in the Zamora neighborhood of Medellín, a project awarded by a public sector entity in which the company currently works. The information was collected through a bibliographic review and meetings with the person in charge of risk management in the company and the thesis advisor of Universidad EAFIT. Additionally, field trips to the project in question were programmed, in order to fully adjust the information required to efficiently meet the objectives of this degree work.
