dc.description.abstractEl aprovechamiento de la tecnología satelital ha demostrado ser de gran importancia para el desarrollo de los países. El sector espacial está divido principalmente en la fabricación de equipos, entre los cuales se incluyen los satélites y los servicios de lanzamiento; los servicios de operación de satélites y los servicios para consumo. Actualmente Colombia no tiene participación en ninguno de estos segmentos, desaprovechando la oportunidad explotar una fuente de crecimiento económico e innovación que en la última década ha duplicado sus ingresos a nivel mundial.
