Formulación del sistema de gestión para la sostenibilidad basado en la norma técnica sectorial colombiana NTS-TS 002 para el Hotel Spiwak Chipichape Cali

Abstract

Currently, with the growing environmental, social and economic problems that societies face worldwide, the business sector is one of the key axes when taking management measures aimed at the improvement and prevention of negative impacts in these three dimensions. This is why, in the hotel sector, the incorporation of socio-environmental and economic criteria fulfill a highly important function; taking into account that the clients of the hotel and tourism sector are increasingly aware of the environmental problems and likewise increase their demands regarding this dimension when choosing a lodging stablishment. In accordance with the foregoing, this document has been developed in the Hotel Spiwak Chipichape Cali, as a manual of the management system for sustainability under the Colombian Sectorial Technical Standard NTS-TS 002. This in order to promote the improvement of the socio-environmental and economic management that has been advancing. The methodology is based on the requirements of the aforementioned standard, starting from the development of an initial environmental diagnosis to proceed later with the identification of the applicable legal requirements, the identification and evaluation of environmental, social and economic aspects and impacts and finally the formulation of programs aimed at the continuous improvement of the identified aspects and others required by the sustainable tourism standard (NTS-TS 002)
