Resumen
The Plukenetia volubilis, also known as Inca Peanut or Sacha Inchi is native to the Peruvian Amazon rainforest, is rich in unsaturated fatty acids omega 3,6 and 9 and from all known natural sources, is considered the best in the world.
The following study has the general objective of determining the technical and economic pre-feasibility of establishing a Sacha Inchi crop in the village of Potrerito - Vereda Gato de Monte, in order to be a direct supplier to the intermediary that commercializes the product through distribution channels established by the same. The methodology used to do this consists of three moments, where first a bibliographic development is made about the characteristics and conditions of the study area, as well as a technical study is made regarding the characteristics and conditions that this crop demands. In the second phase, a brief market study is carried out in which the target audience is surveyed in order to visualize an overview of the natural products market and Sacha Inchi. In the third and last phase, the economic study of the project is carried out, where the necessary resources for its development and management, price quotations and production sold (expected) were presented. Then, with the help of the cash flow tool, cash flow projections were made, which were then used to calculate the TIR and VPN economic indicators.
The results were the willingness to purchase on the part of the target market as well as technical and economic feasibility. This indicates that the project complies with the prefeasibility sought and that this is a product that is making its way into the national market, which can also potentially be a substitute for other types of crops.
