Resumen
In imported industrial solid bulk food companies, the purchasing management process suffers from great variability generated by external factors such as logistics, port, and / or those corresponding to the Purchases and Products area, the latter being in charge of analyze the behavior of the bulk in the bag, not only the currency exchange but also the time windows where the benefits are presented by the purchase of the required raw material since the price of the dollar is very volatile. This decision framework modifies the mandatory operations to run a purchase plan again, with different conditions to generate new projected stocks and therefore the variability of the security stock being in this way very dynamic, and that is why for the case study company The Dynamic Security Stock (SSD) name for the model is declared, which translates into business flexibility needs to respond to the customer and provider. This document defines a protocol to face the re-configuration process and a quantitative method, designed based on the opportunities of such behavior, the alignment of the processes and the communication between the departments throughout the chain, to suggest the optimal amount that You must have as a safety stock, and after this, present a projected stock to achieve an accurate purchase planning taking into account all the variables related to this process being the SSD a branch that makes up the purchase plan, and also achieve high level of service thanks to the skills, competencies and skills acquired in the evaluation process, and improvement of the supply chain, allowing them to be more competitive at the national level, all of the above through tools and methodologies such as planning and control of the production, Monte Carlo Simulation, applying SS models (safety stock)
