GERT S.A. Company has an Instron 4302 universal traction and compression
machine, which is currently in an obsolete and nonfunctional state. The work of
designing a repotentiation was carried out, and it consists in incorporating
controllers managed by a computer, in order to visualize the data obtained from the
tests.
For the development of the work was carried out the concurrent design process
where the necessary components were investigated and identified through circuit
simulations and calculations for the correct functioning of the machine, the programs
(software) required to carry out the communication process through the graphical
interface were determined.
As a result it was established that the programs to handle are Arduino, LabView and
Excel, being the first one a free software that allows broad connectivity with other
programs, the second allows to create a graphical interface that can be very intuitive
for the person to operate and the third because it allows to take the data obtained
from LabView and graph them, so they can keep the information of the tests
