Resumen
Project description ¡Vive Pacífico! It is a web platform that disseminates the gastronomic culture of the Pacific, whose target audience is Afro-descendants living in Bogotá, as well as anyone who wants to know the ancestral preparations together with the context of their production and consumption (parties, celebrations, funeral rites , births, etc.), as well as the geographic and social contexts of the Pacific, within the framework of public policies for the knowledge, safeguarding and promotion of food and traditional Colombian cuisines. Statement of the problem Although, currently there is recognition of the cultural expressions of the Pacific, led by the cultural policies of the national government, such as the Policy for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage, as well as the Policy for knowledge, safeguarding and the promotion of food and traditional Colombian cuisines, it has been seen that few initiatives can bring gastronomic experiences to the public together with a cultural, symbolic and natural context. Proof of this is that to date few initiatives have been found to maintain and socialize Pacific preparations that go beyond the simple enumeration of recipes. Much is still unknown about how gastronomy combines with the geographical diversity and the cultural diversity of the region. This is called the associated stories, that is, the interaction with the environment and the symbolic framework that leads to a specific preparation. It is important that the general public can have access to a more specific knowledge of the gastronomy of the Pacific so that it is possible to remember and make customs visible
