Abstract

The referral and transfer of patients is a determining factor in the process of care for patients who need to be referred to hospitals with greater scientific technical capacity or with the appropriate conditions to give continuity in the provision of health services. Objective: to characterize the clinical management of the referral process of a medium complexity hospital located in the state (Department) of Cundinamarca, Colombia.
