Resumen
In the present study we want to analyze the effect of social robotics in children with cerebral palsy in order to put it into practice in Lokomat assisted gait rehabilitation therapies to improve performance in them, as well as the motivation to participate in they. For this, a user interface was adapted, integrating modules for the stages of a robotic interaction session in the Goleman clinic with children who presented with cerebral palsy and the acquisition of EMG signals was integrated for future sessions of assisted gait therapy by Lokomat. To carry out the previously described, the following methodology was followed. First, a detailed description of the process and materials used for the creation of the user interface is made. Subsequently, the robotic interaction protocol used with the children linked to the study at the Goleman clinic is specified. Finally, the clinical protocol is declared that allows the use of electromyography sensors and social robotics to be included in long-term assisted gait therapy sessions by Lokomat. In accordance with the above, the results obtained correspond to the sample of the finished program highlighting each window of the application and its use in a clear way, also, based on the implemented protocols, the numerical data and statistical tests obtained from the sessions of therapy. With these data, emphasis was placed on the analysis of the children's attention level towards the robot, this showed percentages greater than 69% and a significant difference between the beginning and end of the session, which finally indicates an improvement in its performance.
