Resumen
This work arises from the need to show the difficulties in the processes of integral formation in the rural territories. The objective of this internship report is to make the diagnosis of the process of school orientation and psychosocial care, aimed at students of vocational media of the IED El Carmen, in the Municipality of Guachetá, Cundinamarca (Colombia), and how these students are characterized socio-demographically, the current implementation of the psychosocial care scheme is analyzed and recommendations are made for the improvement of the psychosocial care route in the school, taking into account the rural context. Based on a proposal that articulates several contributions from the studies of youth, rural education and school and vocational guidance, a diagnosis was made in which vocational students, teachers, parents and school directors were approached. The field work demonstrates that there is not enough support for the development of the integral processes of education, as is the strengthening of the processes of school orientation and psychosocial attention within the schools. It also shows that the psychosocial care scheme that works in the school is disjointed with the functions that it should have for the students. The conclusions point to a greater strengthening of the integral formation and the permanent intervention with students, teachers and families. Also, throughout the work, the tensions that guide the policies and projects directed towards rural students are evident.
