Internacionalización de Holcim en México

Abstract

Holcim's internationalization process is a matter of the utmost importance for Mexico, since it is one of the most important cement companies in the world. This company started in Switzerland and today operates in more than 70 countries. It arrived in Mexico in 1964 and, since then, it has become an important source of income and employment. Holcim is the leading company in the cement industry, and it seeks to satisfy the construction needs of its clients. Considering the magnitude of this company and its importance for Mexico, this work has been carried out to understand Holcim's internationalization process in Mexico and its success in this country. This undergraduate work began with the business visit to Mexico City in March 2019.
