La confianza con proveedores: los supuestos y factores que actúan sobre la confianza y la relación con proveedores: una revisión sistemática de la literatura

One of the main challenges of developing buyer-supplier relation relays on its initial phase: the supplier’s selection. The main challenges consist of taking into account more subjective factors beyond price and lead-time such as mutual trust which might be affected by quality of products and services, support and after sales. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the main factors related to trust and supplier relation in the frame of supplier selection through a systematic review of 27 articles published in Scopus database during 2016 and 2021. As a result, it was observed that the factors impacting trust could be segregated into 3 groups. The first group refers to interpersonal factors such as similarity, sympathy, goodwill. The second one comprises factors considered as mechanisms, such as code of conduct, value proposition, accounting, contracts, repeated transactions, communication and information exchange and the last group is composed of cognitive factors such as reliability, reputation, competence and commitment.
