Resumen
The knowledge management model at CES University includes the interactions of the academic and scientific community, society, graduates, the state and the enterprise for the effective use of information and the development of skills of those who support the institutional work. In order for these interactions to occur clearly, the harmonic construction of multiple factors (organizational strategy, processes, technology, people, information and measurement) is necessary, so that, through them, it is possible to develop the necessary convergences for the generation of value and of fulfillment of missionary purposes. This work pays special attention to the manifesto provided by CES University for the development of its vision, on the way in which the research and innovation process and its measurement schemes could be developed, within the framework of the institutional model of knowledge management. For this, the adoption of a process-based management model was proposed, in which the stages of its development, the basic minimum (procedures) required in each of its stages and the evaluation and monitoring elements are recognized. That will allow to respond to interest groups on the institutional performance of research and innovation. Finally, this proposal that was accompanied by the institutional account of the main aspects that regulate research and innovation in the University, the methodological development agreed with the main actors of the process and the final schemes that contribute to the knowledge management model, counts as well with the endorsement of the Directorate of Research and Innovation of the institution.
