Mujeres Rrom en Bogotá : Participación política, familia y comunidad

Abstract

In Colombia the political process of the Rrom people has advanced in short steps. This paper presents an analysis of the political participation of Rrom women in the organizational process after recognition as an ethnic people in Colombia and their participation in some projects with the state and moments of community vindication. An analysis is made from post-colonial feminism to the new forms of power that some Rrom women have acquired since their participation in organizations and their leadership in projects that benefit their families and the entire Rrom people in Bogotá.
