Abstract

The results of the research conducted for this article are part of the project “Engineering the Social: The Relationship between the Natural and Social Sciences in the Construction of the Modern Body in Colombia, 1870-1940,” funded by the University of Rosario Research Fund (Fondo de Investigación de la Universidad del Rosario, FIUR DVG-101).
