Abstract

H4eflex, is an already established company, which designs solutions for different sectors, based on the technology of braiding metallic fibers (stainless steel, aluminum and copper), textile fibers and other synthetic materials. By evaluating the market and the possible products to be manufactured, the opportunity to develop a flex-metal connector for water was identified. This product is manufactured with 90% raw materials of Colombian origin, which strengthens the national industry. As differential elements, the water connector has an internal diameter greater than that found on the market, maintaining the attributes of flexibility and durability. Therefore, the objective of this project is to develop the business plan for the manufacture and commercialization of flexometallic connectors for water under the LIONflex line. The result of the development of the business plan indicated the viability of introducing the product line and made it clear that the challenges to be addressed are aimed at solving bottlenecks in the production process and strengthening marketing strategies.
