Resumen
This investigation puts forward the life trayectories of some members of Breaking Borders, a community based tourism group, which is formed by exgangsters who want to stop criminality through being tour guides in their neighborhood: Egipto Alto (Bogotá, Colombia). By means of their stories, I analize how tourism can be a tool to manage resocialization and destigmatization processes. In addition, I use the notions of associativity and territory to understand the basis of the touristic project. Furthermore, I show the before and during Breaking Borders to delve into the influences of structural injustice in the lifes of the exgangsters.
