Resumen
In the district of Sumapaz, in Bogotá, there is a socio-environmental conflict, caused by the clash between two strategies of land use planning: the delimitation of Sumapaz's páramo and the constitution of a Peasant Reserve Zone. The delimitation mainly prioritizes the conservation of the ecosystem, reducing the productive activities from which a large part of the Sumapaceño peasantry lives. The proposal of the Reserve Zone in Sumapaz has collided with the initiative for the delimitation of the páramo, because, within the delimitation plan, 78% of the hectares contemplated within the plan of the Peasant Reserve Zone remain. This would mean that, within these areas, the productive projects contemplated within the Reserve can not be carried out. Through this feature, the perspectives that support both positions are disclosed, as well as the relationships that are built around the páramo in this context. In addition, the feature shows moments where these conceptions come together in the daily life of the sumapaceños.
