Resumen
Strategic capabilities serve as a determining factor to meet the objectives outlined in the organization, this topic is important because organizations seeking internationalization processes need to understand the dynamic capabilities they have or need to implement together with an efficient business strategy as the first input for their processes. Although it is a necessary concept for business strategy, most of the research that has been done does not contain this topic as a primary input but as a secondary variable. The objective is to provide an analysis of the conceptualization and influence of strategic capabilities in order to develop sustainable competitive advantages in the long term through knowledge management, learning, retention of successful capabilities and case studies. The relationship of findings will be consolidated from the understanding of the concepts, variables, companies, measurement instruments, results and limitations found in the most useful academic articles for the topic of study. The theory will be of pragmatic use for international companies as it will focus on the analysis of business capabilities and how, based on a good understanding of the objectives set, rational decision making and adaptation to the changing environment will be fulfilled to outperform competitors and achieve financial and environmental results.
