Resumen
The commercial circulation of academic books has never been an easy task. There have always been audiences for this type of book, however, the specialization of this type of text restricts its circulation. This puts academic publications in a kind of paradox. On the one hand, the quality and relevance of its content for various types of readers makes academic texts indispensable in bookstores and libraries. On the other hand, their specialty character means that they do not have a wide audience in each of their subjects.
