Abstract. This paper started as a searching of a scholar culture renovation by a media (radio) that could communicate the school with marginalized neighborhoods from poor north Bogotá, Colombia, but the idea generated a process that took it beyond what it was thought. In order to move the scholar bases, it was necessary to find out the school, in the sociocultural environment from the neighborhood, looking for not a media but ways of communication that could open the school to the neighborhood in a real form, becoming it in a mediatrix between the neighborhood and the city. That’s why the students had to learn how to do ethnography of their own context, discovering the real leaders from their unknown neighborhoods, remarking another needs and skills less obvious. So, this demanded to mobilize the teachers, not to do what they always do but to become mediators between cultural life of the neighborhood and the school. The dislocation of the scholar world became in a research about how are the relationships of the teenagers and young people changing between their school and their neighborhood at the same time; the research of true interlocutors in the neighborhood overthrew the familiar relationship inertias between school and neighborhood, or better, between school and family parents.
