Abstract

“Paisanos, Conjuros, Zarzos, Bestias y otras Encarnaciones o Relinchos para ir a Dormir” se configura en un Gesto que permite un ensamblaje entre lo vivo, los vestigios, los andares, las derivas, las presencias, la arquitectura y el espacio; el cual parte de la búsqueda por un cuerpo que asume sus cargas, un cuerpo que se expone así mismo antes de exponer o cargar a otros cuerpos, este cuerpo puede dar cuenta de su aprendizaje y de su aprehendizaje en la experiencia de los recorridos para encontrar la carreta, la bestia y a los paisanos. En este Gesto se hacen emerger fantasmagorías que habitan en una sociedad con un legado de violencias y sometimientos. Fantasmagorías que permiten visibilizar la manera en que se dan las relaciones desde lo vivo, lo diverso, lo heterogéneo, dónde históricamente se ha instalado la jerarquización de los sujetos. Afirma Bernard-Marie Koltès en su texto La Soledad en los Campos de Algodón: “…todo hombre o animal que pueda mirar a los ojos a otro hombre o animal es su igual, porque caminan sobre la misma línea fina y plana de latitud, esclavos de los mismos fríos, de los mismos calores, igualmente ricos, igualmente pobres…”. En un momento de pandemia donde la vida vuelve a salir después de un aislamiento ocasionado por el virus COVID 19, este Gesto se presenta para exaltar lo vivo y sus relaciones, el afuera y los otros, y cómo están dadas las dinámicas en el ecosistema. Durante la realización del Gesto se ha pretendido propiciar un desplazamiento en la mirada del espectador, dando un mayor foco al espacio y a las materias dispuestas, cuestionando el antropocentrismo. “Countrymen, Spells, Wattles, Beasts and other Incarnations or Neighs to go to Sleep” is configured in a Gesture that allows an assembly between the living, the vestiges, the walks, the drifts, the presences, the architecture and the space; which starts from the search for a body that assumes its loads, a body that exposes itself before exposing or loading other bodies, this body can account for its learning and its apprehension in the experience of the routes to find the cart, the beast and the countrymen. In this gesture, phantasmagorias are made to emerge that inhabit a society with a legacy of violence and subjugation. Phantasmagorias that make it possible to make visible the way in which relationships take place from the living, the diverse, the heterogeneous, where the hierarchy of subjects has historically been installed. Bernard-Marie Koltès affirms in his text Solitude in the Cotton Fields: "...every man or animal that can look another man or animal in the eye is their equal, because they walk on the same thin and flat line of latitude, slaves of the same cold, of the same heat, equally rich, equally poor…”. At a time of pandemic where life comes out again after isolation caused by the COVID 19 virus, this Gesture is presented to exalt the living and its relationships, the outside and the others, and how the dynamics in the ecosystem are given. During the execution of the gesture, it has been tried to promote a shift in the viewer's gaze, giving a greater focus to the space and the arranged materials, questioning anthropocentrism.
