Resumen
The purpose of this work is to evaluate the relationship between competitive priorities (quality, delivery, cost, and flexibility) and the development of greening of supply chain practices (GSCM) through the mediation of one of the dimensions of Lean, Total Quality Management (TQM). Quantitative survey data were obtained from 123 questionnaires completed by staff related to environmental management in the same number of companies in Bogotá, Colombia, participating in a tutoring program administered by Secretaría Distrital de Ambiente. The validity and reliability of the instruments were evaluated using factor analysis and the proposed relations were contrasted using structural equation modeling. The study's findings offer partial evidence on the mediation role of TQM practices (integration of suppliers, in particular) in the association between competitive priorities - quality and delivery - and GSCM practices.
