Uno se dejará para un futuro artículo Abstract : With the aim of recognizing what strategies use the students of the last semesters of bachelor's degree of mathematics from the University of Tolima when they solve simple combinatorial problems, there was applied a questionnaire about two simple combinatorial problems to students of the last semesters of this program. The students’ answers were classified according to the strategy used for the solution of each one of the problems. For the problem 1, three categories are obtained: Analytical, with two approaches, using formulas and narrative; enumerative, with focus, count of empty positions and graphics solution. For each of these, a representative is selected, which is analyzed and presented in detail and alternatives of solution are presented based on the given by the student. In general terms, it was noted that 31.1% used the enumerative category as strategy, 26.6% used the analytical category and graphics 28.8% . In the case of the first problem, of the 45 questionnaires analyzed, only two of them came to correct answers. For the second problem, it is only a presentation and a similar analysis to the problem. One is left to a future article
