(Texto tomado de la fuente) This story tells the story of a teaching artist and her cat in the middle of a strange
journey through space, to reflect on art, creativity, and education, and their positions,
opinions, and beliefs. It collects and summarizes an investigative and reflective work
that she began to develop from before entering the master’s degree in artistic
education at the National University of Colombia in Bogotá. In turn, this writing
seeks to account for the entire process of introspection, encounter, and transformation
that the person who writes undergoes throughout the years of postgraduate study in
his being and doing. It is conceived and developed as a narrative document, to show
a knowledge of this artist-teacher, and how her writing accompanies her in her daily
life and is a fundamental part of her investigative, creative, and introspective
processes.
When reading it, it is important to keep in mind: Some things in the text appear in a
different color. All of them are citations to information that supports, complements,
or explains the content of this writing. What appears in blue, refers to the website in
which the annexes of this work are found: videos, graphics, etc. That which is in
purple is everything that has been cited as a hyperlink and therefore placing the
cursor on the word or phrase will take you somewhere on the web. What is in
aquamarine2
corresponds to citations that do not lead to any webspace but are part
of books in physical or digital format that cannot be cited through a hyperlink as
such. Finally, the text in dark green corresponds to quotes referring to characters that
have nothing to do with the educational world or with some academic text that
supports the arguments contained here (the common European cat, etc.) That said, both Merlina and I hope that you, the reader, can enjoy the story of our
first trip as much as we enjoyed writing it.
