This study explores the process foraming an associative enterprise by rural women, as well as its relationship with gentler roles in the domestic sphere. We worked with users of the Training and Training Program for Peasant Women through participant observations and interviews in La Araucania, a region located in southern Chile. According to a theoretical corpus of constructivist approach, we characterized the different positions that women occupy within their organizations according to the way they articulate their associative role with the gentler division of traditional work in their family groups. In this way, the conclusions encourage the creation of methodologies that foster the participation of women in associative ventures, while considering their interests and placements in the gender structures of rural areas.
