La No Adherencia al Tratamiento Farmacológico como un factor asociado a la calidad de vida en Pacientes con Fibromialgia

El objetivo del estudio fue determinar si la no adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico era un factor asociado a la calidad de vida en pacientes con fibromialgia (FM). Se realizó un estudio de casos y controles. Se trabajó con 81 casos y 81 controles. Se obtuvo que la mala adherencia al tratamiento fue factor de riesgo para una mala calidad de vida en pacientes con FM (OR: 12,614; IC al 95%: 5,376 – 29,599; Chi2: 41,869; p < 0,001). En el estudio, la edad promedio de los pacientes fue 70,37 ± 11,66 años, 74,7% fueron de sexo femenino, 40,7% tuvieron educación primaria, 58% fueron casados y el tiempo de enfermedad promedio fue 7,23 ± 3,9 años. Se concluye que la no adherencia al tratamiento farmacológico es factor de riesgo para una mala calidad de vida en pacientes con fibromialgia.
