La investigación titulada “Comunicación, roles y estructura familiar en el desarrollo de
habilidades sociales en estudiantes de secundaria”, tiene el objetivo general de determinar
la influencia del sistema familiar en las habilidades sociales en estudiantes de secundaria.
El tipo de investigación fue descriptiva y el diseño transversal. La muestra estuvo
compuesta por 200 estudiantes del cuarto y quinto grado del nivel de educación secundaria
que participan de la Escuela de líderes de la Universidad César Vallejo que fueron
seleccionados en forma probabilística. La técnica que se utilizó fue la encuesta y los
instrumentos de recolección de datos fueron cuestionarios. Para determinar la validez de
los instrumentos se utilizó el juicio de expertos y para la confiabilidad se utilizó el
Coeficiente Alfa de Cronbach obteniendo como resultado un coeficiente de confiabilidad
por encima de 0.775, lo que significa que existe una alta confiabilidad en los instrumentos
utilizados.
La influencia de las variables comunicación familiar, adaptabilidad en los roles
familiares y cohesión en la estructura familiar sobre las habilidades sociales es a un nivel
estadístico significativo (Wald=17,880; p=0.001 ). De acuerdo a estos resultados, se
concluye que la comunicación, la adaptación a los roles y la cohesión de la estructura
familiar influyen significativamente en el desarrollo de las habilidades sociales en
estudiantes de cuarto y quinto grado del nivel de educación secundaria de Lima
Metropolitana.
