| dc.description | El espacio regional murciano ha experimentado, en los últimos años, un notable incremento de población inmigrante, que ha llegado atraída por las posibilidades de empleo ofrecidas desde sectores económicos como la agricultura, la construcción y el turismo. Este trabajo tiene por objeto conocer cómo se ha desarrollado este proceso; qué importancia representa el turismo en esta evolución y, como consecuencia, cuál ha sido la distribución de estos flujos migratorios por los diferentes ámbitos regionales. Las conclusiones obtenidas confirman la amplia participación de estos activos en el mercado laboral generado por el desarrollo turístico regional. También se pone de manifiesto la sensibilidad de esta población ante la actual coyuntura de crisis económica, porque el mercado laboral está expulsando, con mayor intensidad, a la población inmigrante y se está produciendo un efecto de retorno a sus países de origen. Por ello no hay duda que habrá nuevas consecuencias para el territorio de la Región de Murcia. | |
| dc.description | The Murcian regional area has experienced in recent years, a significant increase in immigrant population, which has come attracted by employment opportunities offered from economic sectors such as agriculture, construction and tourism. This work aims to understand how this process has evolved, how important the tourism sector is in this evolution and, therefore, what the distribution of these migratory flows was by the different regional areas. The conclusions obtained confirm the broad participation of these assets in the labor market generated by the regional tourism development. It also highlights the sensitivity of this population to the current situation of economic crisis, because the labor market is expelling, with greater intensity, the immigrant population and is producing an effect of return to their countries of origin. So without any doubt there will be new consequences for the territory of the Region of Murcia. | |
