| dc.description | El presente estudio tiene como objetivo analizar y comprender, en perspectiva histórica, el rol que desempeñó el diario El Mercurio en la entrega de antecedentes, diagnósticos, miradas y discusiones previas a la reforma educativa de 1965. Se destacarán sus discursos, imaginarios sociales, perfiles, miradas, discusiones y descripciones de este proceso. El artículo se estructurará a partir de los siguientes tópicos: comprender la importancia de los procesos históricos en las políticas educativas y la influencia de los medios de comunicación, tales como la prensa, en los acontecimientos nacionales; identificar sumariamente los procesos históricos que se desarrollaron durante el siglo XX en el ámbito educativo; resaltar la importancia de la Reforma Educacional de 1965 bajo el amparo del gobierno de Eduardo Frei Montalva; y por último, analizar el Rol de El Mercurio, como medio de comunicación, en la entrega de información sobre los antecedentes de la reforma en 1965 | |
| dc.description | The objective of this study is to analyze and understand, in historical perspective, the role played by the newspaper El Mercurio in the enactment of the Educational Reform in 1965, highlighting its discourses, social imaginaries, profiles, views, discussions and descriptions of this process. The article will be structured based on the following topics; to understand the importance of historical processes in educational policies and the influence of the media, such as the press, on national events; to sumarize main historical processes developed during the twentieth century in the educational field; highlight the importance of the Educational Reform of 1965 under the protection of the government of Eduardo Frei Montalva; and to analyze the Role of El Mercurio, as a means of communication, in the delivery of information on the enactment of the reform in 1965 | |
