Tracing CSEC Students Who Attended La Vega Secondary School for the Period 2008-2013 and Who Pursued the Vocational Area of Technical Drawing, to Learn About Their Further Education Development in TD as well as the Value of TD in the Workplace

Abstract

This study sought to trace students who pursued Technical Drawing (TD) at La Vega Secondary School during the period 2008–2013, in order to learn about their further education development in TD, as well as to determine the value of TD in the workplace. Data were collected through the administration of a questionnaire, as well as through interviews. The findings revealed that 70.70% of the graduates used the elements of TD in their higher education development, and 43.61% of them were employed in a TD-related workplace.
