Tectonic and structural controls of magma genesis in the Lesser Antilles

Abstract

This paper reviews the structure, major elements of geochemistry and present-day tectonics of the Lesser Antilles. It attempts to relate the various observations to one another and to the broader picture of global tectonics in the Atlantic-Caribbean region.
