Abstract
Brandenburger introduced the notion of possibility models and
showed that, under very weak conditions, a complete model does not exist;
i.e., a well-defined possibility set not represented within the model always
exists. This paper builds on that result, proving that unawareness of a
non-empty event is a necessary and sufficient condition for incompleteness
in a possibility model.
